Steve Schroeder is our senior pastor. He brings a varied ministry background to our church. After teaching and coaching for two years, Steve and his wife, Bobbi, started Victory Homes for Boys ministering to troubled teen boys and their parents. For fifteen years they dedicated their lives to those struggling with relational issues pointing them one-by-one to the Prince of peace who alone could bring the healing they so desperately needed. www.vafb.org
Then in 1998 Steve moved his family of five boys to Aurora to start a church in Naperville. Along with his dad and mom, the families worked together to bring to life New Life Baptist Church. In 2009 the church merged with Grace Fellowship Church and today Grace for Life Bible Church is faithfully exalting Jesus Christ as the only Savior and God’s word as the only wisdom source for life and godliness. Steve enjoys time with his family and wife, going to concerts, singing, playing guitar, and riding his Specializes Allez.
Pastor Bill and Kit Schroeder have been faithful servants of Christ for over 60 years. Together they have ministered in many churches. Pastor Bill spent 30 years pastoring in Oak Forest, Illinois, leading a Christian school and speaking weekly on Chicago Christian television. Pastor Bill takes time caring for people, visiting them in their homes, at coffee shops or in the hospitals and jails. He brings great wealth of God’s word and wisdom to our church.
